Useful for American bloggers/journalists

A legal guide for everyone who publishes online – pretty helpful if you live in the US. And now it exists, thanks to the Citizens Media Law Project at Harvard University.

The guide is intended for “use by citizen media creators with or without formal legal training, as well as others with an interest in these issues, and addresses the legal issues that you may encounter as you gather information and publish your work online.”

As I was looking at the guide and how it works, I also found these sites helpful: Electronic Frontier Foundation’s Legal Guide for Bloggers, top 10 rules for avoiding limiting legal risk, Creative Commons’ Legal Guide.
