Gosh, this is fun. I started following Downing Street on Twitter yesterday, and I’m postively surprised that Gordon Brown and his crew have heard about this application, and actually is using it in their communication with the world. 9 minutes ago I got this twit: “The PM has left the building for a few days and can now be found in Sunny Scotland…” Not the most interesting political message, but still. Here is a No10 twit from yesterday, which is more Hollywoodesque: “George Clooney was at No10 to discuss Darfur. The PM is grateful for the leadership Mr Clooney has shown in drawing attention to the crisis.”
When can I follow Jens Stoltenberg, the Norwegian prime minister, on Twitter?
Reminder to myself: Write more about political aspects of Twitter later!
